At Christmas time I bought 5 lb sacks of flour for.99 When chicken roasters are on sale at.79/lb, When organic bread is on sale, I stock up and store in the freezer. Next comes strawberry season, which after Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. Thanks for reading. Stockpile in the freezer.

99/5 lb flour that I stocked up on at Christmas time and I haven't been able to buy it at that price ever since. 198 from Christmas, but way better than what the 5 lb bags are priced at currently. Apparently, their policy is your item is free if the scanned price doesn't match the sale price. Thanks for reading.

I carefully planned our menu each week around the sales flyers and loss leaders. Fortunately, we received some gift cards for Christmas. This month, I bought one package of juice boxes for the girls’ lunches and that was a treat for them and a thank-you from me for behaving so well in the grocery store.
