My older daughter is growing like a weed and has outgrown pretty much everything from last year, so I know I have some serious shopping to do. Fortunately, my youngest daughter doesn’t really need any clothing. With my list, I went to my favorite thrift store to see what I could find. flip flops for both girls.

Thrifty Finds: a New (to her) Dresser, Valentine’s Day

And the first item on the list was a new dresser for our younger daughter. Two drawers of her dresser pretty much disintegrated over the holidays and the poor girl was living out of plastic tubs until we found a replacement. I checked some local furniture stores to check the prices of new dressers. He has no qualms about much.

So instead of heading to a retail store, I hit my favorite thrift store (on a Wednesday for their 50% off sale) to see if I would have any luck.

The girls and I hit my favorite thrift store this week. Both girls got new (to them) sneakers and they were thrilled. And my oldest daughter got her first pair of Converse sneakers. They were also hardly worn and my daughter was thrilled. As usual, I found some great deals.
