Unfortunately, a LOT of information is copied and pasted from other sites. Simple home-cooked meals will always be cheaper than ordering in or going out. Meals like my easy beef goulash and tuna pasta salad are great examples of inexpensive meals that are easy and delicious. My family loves leftovers, so they never go to waste.

Many times I’m looking endlessly through the freezer or picking at leftovers. For me, I try to keep a few Michelina’s meals on hand because 1) the are so inexpensive – around $1 a piece at the store 2) and you can use coupons to get them even cheaper 3) they are a quick lunch. However, there are simple things we can do every day that help Mother Earth by using less energy, sending less trash to the land fills, and conserving our natural resources. Use reusable containers with lids rather than plastic wrap and aluminum foil to store leftovers. Eat those leftovers! That’s crazy!

Choose Inexpensive Restaurants Choosing a restaurant with less expensive menu options is a great way to save money. This way you will generally have something inexpensive and sweet on hand for dessert. Take Some Home If it is appropriate, you can save some money by taking home the leftovers. Give each person an inexpensive ingredient or side item they can be in charge of so some of the financial burden comes off of you. Focus on inexpensive fillers. Enjoy simple sweet treats.
