Their musical “ Curious: Think Outside the Pipeline! ” won a Parent’s Choice Award for the 2019 soundtrack, and is now viewable as a 40-minute musical movie, created and produced by Julie Be. The musical is also available as a script for schools to perform. Their music is smart, outrageously creative, illuminating, and FUN.

APEX Museum gives you a look at Black contributions throughout America, Auburn Avenue Research Library is the first in the SE with research dedicated to the study or African-American culture and history, hit up the visitor center of Martin Luther King, Jr. The International African American Museum just opened last summer.

Mardi Gras will be happening on the 13th, which means free parades, live music, and a masquerade ball with (free) dinner! There are tons of great museums, including the awesome interactive Convergence Station by Meow Wolf. While it'll still be foggy, which can trap the cold air, you can get some warm moments in the city.
